It's a consumer platform not adhering to the RPi goals<aka education>(even my tablet is running Debian since a while with MATE[Cubian X,it's an Allwinner A20 SoC based tablet], and it's way better with loads of useful software)

If you want some games, try apkenv.(tested both on my Pi and on CubianX ) or check for Java-compatible ones.

There is nearly no hope to get it working *natively*(GPU buffer management sucks).

IIRC, Android running on VC4 did need a lot of changes for buffer management. Which has never been ported to the pi.

Where is the "full source code" of that? Even if it's here,the Pi has only OpenGL ES 2.0 support so it will not run most of the newer games.

Can you do a "while ( aAndroidThreadIsAlive() ) { lockIt() }" or lock the complete subforum and add one for Ubuntu (Snappy)?

It is the same as the sunxi version(linux-x11 branch) with my X11EGLRPI layer.

gralloc is stable now. (vc4-drm uses the same ABI, dma_buf as the ARM Mali gralloc) and it works well.
