USB wireless Mouse slow and with delay (SOLVED)

Hello you all,

as I'm totally new to the Raspberry PI and to this forum here I don't know if I post this exactly to the right place but anyway, I have the following problem:

Got myself a Pi3 and it works fine together with a dell usb wireless mouse.
But now I bought a usb-wireless 2,4 GHz mouse-keyboard combination (perixx PERIDUO-712). The keyboard works fine but the mouse is kind of slow and has much delayed reaction. Altering the mouse settings has almost no effect.

I tried it on a linux mint 17.3 Cinnamon, and with Windows 10, where it worked very well in both cases. The problem sems to only exist on the Pi run with raspbian.

Can anybody please give me good advice to make it run as it should?

Can you post the outputs of the lsusb and usb-devices commands** for both the working and "slow" setups - that way we can see if different drivers are in use. Does the Perixx keyboard share its wireless connection with the mouse (ie. only one wireless dongle is in use)? What happens if you use the Perixx keyboard + Dell mouse (and second dongle)?

Thanks for your replies and excuse my late reaction. Can't spend a lot of time here and with the pi, unfortunately.

@ gordon77: I'll try this as soon as possible. Don't have access to the Pi at the moment.
@ Trev: Yes, keyboard and mouse share the same usb-wireless dongle. When I ad the dell usb-dongle, the dell mouse works fine and the keyoard, too.

Thanks!!! This fix also worked for a wireless Polaroid mouse. Model: PCA10 running on a pi4.
