Re: DRM suddenly not working

@NimbUx
I've added back in the original commands here: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=318893&p=1910100#p1910100
They may work for other Raspbian based OS's (eg. RetroPie)

Re: DRM suddenly not working

@FlynnTheAvatar The current official fix only works with Chrome (not Kodi / other browsers) https://github.com/xbmc/inputstream.adaptive/issues/678#issuecomment-914635326 Looks like they will be fixing that shortly though :) The reason your DRM_FAILED_LICENSE_REQUEST in Chrome is because their demo ...

Re: DRM suddenly not working

@TheGreatDayne i updated my previous comment - I forgot - udemy even on kodi has the same VMP issue. No way around it unfortunately. The container won't help you either You (and anyone else trying to use Udemy) contacting them and telling them to turn off VMP is the only solution and may actually wo...

@craigevil
some courses aren't using DRM on Udemy and some are.
I suspect the users issue is with courses that are DRM
as the ones that don't are just normal HLS or MP4

Re: DRM suddenly not working

@TheGreatDayne you mean udemy in browser doesn't work? They may be requiring VMP which doesnt work on linux. You could install Kodi and try use my Udemy add-on instead: https://www.matthuisman.nz/2018/08/udemy-kodi-add-on.html actually, I forgot - even the Kodi add-on won't work. They are indeed for...

For anyone who just can't wait for the "official" resolution, commands below should get you back in action. use at your own risk sudo apt-get install gnupg curl -s --compressed "https://wagnerch.github.io/ppa/buster/KEY.gpg" | sudo apt-key add - sudo curl -s --compressed -o /etc/...

Hi Rascas, I see you maintain the kodi package for ARM debian. You may be interested in upcoming Widevine blob changes that will break playback on ARM (probably in 5-6 days from now) You can read here: https://github.com/raspberrypi/Raspberry-Pi-OS-64bit/issues/11#issuecomment-838118259 & here h...

Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

Is it possible to suppress low voltage warnings under PINN? If so how is it done? https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/config-txt/misc.md You'd edit the config.txt inside Raspbian. Boot Raspbian, then sudo nano /boot/config.txt Then add avoid_warnings=1 at the bottom, then reboot...

Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

I can't see a new zip for 3.3d.
Looks like just the BUILD-DATA has been updated though.

Wouldn't it keep trying to update if it detects 3.3d but then keeps downloading a zip with 3.3.2 version in it

@chrisino

What you are asking in "Windows terms" is
- I want to shrink my Windows drive & install another version of Windows in the free space (all while I'm still booted in Windows).

Pretty sure Windows wouldn't do that "so easily".

For OS's that don't work with reboot [part] or /sys/module/bcm2708/parameters/reboot_part, I load in a simple executable which does the reboot [part] logic. Here is the source code: https://pastebin.com/VULwtmyx A compiled version (and source) can be found in my NOOBS Companion add-on. https://githu...

@FJaeger I just noticed they provide a NOOBS package already. Download the *-noobs.tar file. Extract that (use 7zip on windows) Copy that Lakka_RPi2 to your OS folder inside PINN. That's all you should need to do as NOOBS packages are compatible with PINN :D @procount Do you think I should add a Lak...

Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

@ccunnin71 Should be fixed now. The issue was that RetroPie3 was renamed RetroPie2 recently-ish. There was an error in my web app that meant it was using an old version of scraped data. To fix, either change "retropie3" to "retropie2" in your cmdline.txt http://pinn.mjh.nz/os_lis...

@mironto You could use the autoboot.txt method and use my KODI add-on to boot from KODI -> Raspbian. https://www.matthuisman.nz/2017/02/kodi-noobs-companion-add-on.html If you also do "Install boot-back", it'll add a shortcut into Raspbian to boot-back to KODI. Or a normal reboot would als...

If you want to skip having to manually resize the partitions, I have a web app that can do it for you.
It allows setting the initial partition sizes.

As all the info is already scraped and available - it won't be hard.
