I had the same problem for a while and it was the path problem listed above. It took me a try or two to get it sorted, but once it was fixed every rom I've tried has worked. On a side note there are plenty of linux mame frontends, but running it straight from the command line on something as relativ...

I'm going to be doing the same as this (or similar at least) once my second Pi turns up. I'm building a tabletop two-player set of controls to hook up to a tv. I've built an arcade stick in the past with the proper parts and a Frankenstein's Monster of a pad hack with a cheap PS2 pad and converters ...

Hi all, just dropping in here to say hello. I'm 30ish and from Cornwall, UK. I've joined here as I was lucky enough to get included on the latest round of invites to order a rPi. I'm keen to get stuck in and using it for various projects and some programming, I can't wait :)
