P0 2W with Arm64 bullseye stuck on Rainbow screen

I noticed that the arm64 Lite Bullseye release available in the reposities is not ready to boot with P0 2W for the first time. I found some dbt files that put in / boot allow booting but still have problems. Perhaps ideal would be to start image on a pi4 and update with sudo apt update and sudo apt ...

Re: Pi Os bullseye not running on display inch 7 original raspberry

try putting

Code: Select all

dtparam = i2c_vc_baudrate = 50000
in your config.txt file and restart.

Code: Select all

sudo nano /boot/config.txt
let us know if it goes.

Re: Pi Os bullseye not running on display inch 7 original raspberry

The lcd_rotate = 2 command is an option that I entered up to buster to rotate the display since the cover is positioned in such a way that I had to rotate it 180 ° 2) I use the original raspberry power supply and use the touch display power supply as well as your indication by making it powered by t...

Re: Pi Os bullseye not running on display inch 7 original raspberry

I don't have a pi4 available currently, the ones I have are busy with os buster in various configurations, but I would be tempted to test the display with a pi4.

Because currently the display is connected to a pi3A and I would like to understand if the problem occurs only with the pi3A or not.

Re: Pi Os bullseye not running on display inch 7 original raspberry

the speech on GitHub is almost similar, the problem lies in the new graphics drives, but I expect the display to work with kms active also put the line "dtparam = i2c_vc_baudrate = 50000" it makes no sense because without the display it works just comment kms. my question is a normal perso...

Re: Pi Os bullseye not running on display inch 7 original raspberry

@jamesh

Code: Select all

sudo nano /boot/coonfig.txt

if in config.txt I comment the line:

Code: Select all

dtoverlay = vc4-kms-v3d
in

Code: Select all

# dtoverlay = vc4-kms-v3d
the display works again and the desktop loads correctly.

what can it be?

Raspberry pi4 8gb ram with PiOS armf or Arm64?

For almost a year now my LAMP server has been working very well on a Pi4 8Gb ram with PIOS arm 64 bit desktop buster. Almost a year ago I decided to switch to the 64-bit desktop version based on debian arm64, mainly to take advantage of debian SURY ORG repositories to have LATEST php and apache VERS...

Re: Debian Bullseye Officially released yesterday 8-14-2021

I have read but I do not find traces on a possible release date for raspian Pi OS, not even a possible roadmap, nor if it is already possible now from terminal for arm64 version to get bullseye from buster.

Debian Bullseye Officially released yesterday 8-14-2021

I noticed that my raspbian pi OS arm 64 bit distribution based on debian buster changed the packages from stable to old-stable, I am wondering if it is already possible to totally switch to bullseye and if "Yes" what specific command to run or will it still take a few days of waiting? I'm ...

Re: Moving Linux Kernel to 5.10

I SOLVED!!!!! if you start wanting wireguard with kernel 5.10.x don't compile wireguard-linux-compact as wireguard is already included in the kernel, in fact compiling it warns you that the kernel already has the version included. which is why wireguard-tools only needs to be compiled for p0 and all...

Re: Moving Linux Kernel to 5.10

the above procedure doesn't work for armv6, the debian backport would work for armv7 but at that point I would put debian based 64 bit raspbian and use the backport. the p0 is armv6 and the backport doesn't work. I get pissed off because up to 5.4 the compilation worked and if I do it and update ker...
