Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.15.2 on Pi4

I remember he had mmlpi and mojang asked marco to remove it but this is not the only open source launcher out there, one open source one is multimc, we could try and folk that for the raspberrypi so we don't have to run scripts and to have a streamline launcher like we used to do

Re: BCM54213PE Ethernet CableChecker™ diagnostics

I mean there is no datasheet to be found so we can ask Broadcom or Raspberry Pi engineers. I'll wait until tommorow and then try and contact broadcom.

BCM54213PE Ethernet CableChecker™ diagnostics

The BCM54213PE features CableChecker™ diagnostics, which detects common cable problems including shorts, opens, and cable length.
is in the overview of the Ethernet chip we are using. I wonder if it can be used from the raspberry pi in some way?

Re: Consultant Needed - Need large I/O with Pi 4

Seeking consultant/guidance to fill dev knowledge gap. I have a Pi 4 and trying to find guidance on expanding I/O for both button input, pot input, flying fader control and RGB LED control. Here is a list of I/O needed, ideally controlled with Pi's: - 96 momentary push buttons - 96 RGB LEDs (one fo...

Try flashing the latest bootloader firmware so you get the boot debug screen and also try raspberrypiimager to flash raspbian. The noobs or pinn it might have install may have corrupted itself.

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 External Wifi Antenna

So a few months have passed and I got an update, I got a SY call sign in Greece, I am not licenced to transmit in some frequencies but not above 440 MHz see 21.1 on Β-1969/2-9-2011. So basically, just use an adapter and it will work. Since the adapter is licenced not me so I don't have to supervise ...

Re: General Purpose Input and Output

Generally speaking the GPIO's should be able to pull down about 5mA safely, so if you use a (high brightness) LED, with a 470 Ohm resistor in series you can directly connect it to a GPIO pin. (Anode of the LED on +3V3, cathode to a 470E resistor, and the other end of the resistor to the GPIO pin. I...

Raspberry Pi 4 External Wifi Antenna

The Raspberry Pi 4 apparently has a transmit power of 31.00 dBm which could be used for long range WiFi using a directional antenna.
So in order to add a connector on the RPi 4 what would I need to buy and do?

Well, I was a student that made a deal with a teacher to have kind on his own team to work with. I think a user without sudo capabilities and vnc should work for a classroom.
