Re: TUTORIAL: Run Official Godot Builds on Pi4

While I know that the original poster was showing how to run the official builds for Godot, I just thought I'd point out that an ARM build of Godot is available on Pi-Apps.

Please open an issue on Github or join the Pi-Apps Discord server and ask there. This forum is for Raspberry Pi support; it's not really the best place to be asking for Pi-Apps support.

@Botspot I just want to let you know that you can remove "Vdesktop doesn't work well on Ubuntu" from the readme. I use Vdesktop on Ubuntu 21.04 and it works just fine both in CLI and GUI modes.
Maybe I should clarify it to "Vdesktop cannot boot Ubuntu images."

Re: This forum… PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING. (KALI and "Windows 10 ARM" are NOT supported!)

Have you tried it? 64 bit ARM Windows on a Pi4 is unsuitably slow! I have tried it a lot, and found that some things work well while others don't. In some cases it can be quite fast. First we have to understand that the graphics-stack is a mess. Currently, Windows ARM64 does not make use of the GPU...

It's good to see that people are still finding my vdesktop tool to be useful. :) Even though I'm not as active on the Forums anymore, I still use vdesktop almost daily to test apps in a clean environment for the Pi-Apps app store . Vdesktop allows me to rapidly test apps in TwisterOS, Stretch, Buste...

net booting check take too long, 5 minutes maybe. The UEFI is doing more than waiting during those five minutes. It has to setup a compatible virtual-hardware interface for Windows to boot from. You could call it the "pre-boot procedure". ;) btw, how to clone installed sdcard to a SSD. I'...

My problem with this configuration is that the URL location bar on Chromium does not scale with the desktop and is unreadable on a large screen from a distance. You have two options: Enable pixel-doubling with the Raspberry Pi Configuration tool. After a reboot, this will cut the resolution in half...
