Re: Join 2 subnets on Raspberry Pi

@Mackie, Tailscale achieved exactly what I needed. Thanks again for the suggestion. I installed Tailscale on iPhone and the Raspberry Pi. Didn't even install it not the VPS. Setup was easy and everything worked out the box. I needed to do one extra step to get the home lan subnet accessible from Tai...

Re: Join 2 subnets on Raspberry Pi

Thanks a lot for the reply and for the links, I'll read about them. My routing knowledge is also very basic, and apparently, despite this massive database of knowledge that we have at our disposal (ie. the internet) I still can't educate myself enough. Will let you know what I end up doing. Thanks

Re: Join 2 subnets on Raspberry Pi

Many thanks for the replies. @Mackie, do you do this on the server only, or on the peers as well? In my case, the server is the VPS. I have been reading a lot of articles on ip tables and routing and the more I read, the more I get confused. Would appreciate if you could give me any other suggestion...

Join 2 subnets on Raspberry Pi

I have setup a small Wireguard VPN network between 3 devices: - Digital Ocean VPS (server, 10.222.0.1) - Raspberry Pi on my home network (peer, 10.222.0.2) - iPhone 11 (peer, 10.222.0.3) From any device, I can ping the others. The VPN is functional. What I want now is for the iPhone (which is outsid...

Re: View/monitor RTSP IP camera feed on RPi

Thanks for the reply, that is helpful.

Any suggestions on which software should be used to grab a still from the RTSP (IP camera) feed?

View/monitor RTSP IP camera feed on RPi

I have been around and around in circles with this. I feel like i've read every single article on google and tried to install a million different little apps with no success yet. I have an IP camera (hikvision broadcasting an rtsp stream 1920x1080 @ 1 fps.) connected to my RPi 4 and it is streaming ...

Re: Apache web server on pi

Thanks for the replies. I tried and tried but then gave up.

Just couldn't get it working - my only guess is that motion or some other process is interfering with the wordpress on port 80.
