Hi,
I cannot pass digital audio to A/V through kodi.
Is it a limitation or do I have bad audio settings?

Re: [DEV] LineageOS 17.1 (Android 10) for Raspberry Pi 4 B

New build. Not advertising Pi 400 support this time but please test if there's a similar issue with the setup wizard as with the Android TV. Edit. This has been now tested on Pi 400 by quite a few people and it should be fully functional. https://konstakang.com/devices/rpi4/LineageOS17.1/ -device s...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Thread - general discussion

Hi, Why RPi4 cpu only running one core when reading VP9 files? Such a powerful cpu can only read up to 1080p in VP9... Are you sure it's only using one core? Will need to check with the codev guys, but I thought VP9 was partially HW accelerated now. I think so, I had already created a topic because...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Thread - general discussion

Does this mean that RPi4 will be limited in driver evolution because of previous versions, so it is not worth betting on it for media player with Libreelec? What on earth brings you to that conclusion? Raspbian includes all sorts of bells and whistles for the RPi4 but also includes extremely good s...

Ok, I asked why, due to the fact that i see in the Libreelec forum, RPi4 continues with the old kernel.
There have been some issues with 5.4 and V3D (Pi4 graphics). Those are now resolved, so I believe they are now at least testing on 5.4.
Good news, thanks.

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Thread - general discussion

The need to support 32-bit will continue for a good while yet unless the RPT/RPF are prepared to simply drop support for their legacy customers and face the inevitable backlash which will come with that - which they sensibly don't appear to want to do. We won't be dropping support for legacy custom...

Re: RPi 4 youtube VP9 videos above 1080p

Yes, up to 1080p no problem if it's 4k hangs…
I had also noticed that there is always a full load core and the others 3 don't.
Future optimization of cpu will be fixed?

Hi, Tried to play 4k videos in youtube addon, if setting the resolution above 1080p has issues. By the way, does Kodi work better this way or through Libreelec? Thanks... Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspbian Buster

Tried another 4k video and it played alright except for a small hiccup in the beginning (without any entries in the logs unless they are somewhere else instead of dmesg). But I did go to menu and every movement caused a blackout from which the device recovered. Other than that it played fine but th...

Help! Newbie with CPU specifications Pi4

Hello, I recently purchased my first Pi4 and the chipset does not match the features that are announced here. Could someone explain to me why in the specs say it brings a BMC2711 ARMv8 and what I got behind a BMC2835 ARMv7? https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-4-model-b/specifications/ ...
