Re: get_iplayer 3.27.1 problems

The author says they dont support a linux version, they used to. Thats why I tried the windows version, after I wrote this post I saw remarks about end of lines, I found a little script that sorted it.
Thanks Guys

get_iplayer 3.27.1 problems

Hi Guys, I couldnt find a Raspbian/Debian package of the latest Get_iplayer. As I only ever get the perl script and drop it into usr/bin I grabbed a windows version, but I cant get it to auto execute, I've done all the usual chmod +x stuff but I get the error: /usr/bin/env: 'perl\r' : no such file o...

Case for Pi Zero W c/w Zero4U board and Witty pi 3

Hi guys,
thinking of running this setup, you can have the Witty pi on one side of the pi and the zero4U on the other. I'd prefer a case for some protection, havent seen any I'm sure would take this configuration, any ideas?
cheers

Thanks Dougie, I'll try that, its just the same version I've used for yonks, it just sits ther running Get_iplayer..
Didnt see the point of upgrading just for that.

Same problem on mine, you have to select all the uk locales AND the US ones, I know it sounds stupid, but it works and you will have a UK region and keyboard.

Would two pi 3 Plus's have enough grunt to do this?
One on Input and One handling output?
I dabbled with this on my Ubuntu Desktop and never got any output from it.

Re: Jukebox

you only need an external soundcard if you want to record, I've bought quite a few of those cheap chinese ones off ebay, they run nicely, only downside is most of them only record in mono. Still pretty good for about a quid!

My RPi3B+ is my fifteenth.
Five 1Bs, one A+, one B+, two 2Bs, one zero, one zero W, three 3Bs, one 3B+
Damn Dougie, I thought I was obsessive with nine!
