How to determine if GPIO event handler is attached?

How to determine if GPIO event handler is attached? How to determine if RPi.GPIO.add_event_detect() has been used to attach (event) callback to a given GPIO pin? You can query pin state, pin mode, (RPi.GPIO.gpio_function()). But you can't determine if a pin has an assigned event detect handler is ad...

Report Bug URL is INCORRECT for Pi OS

I was informed today by the Debian 10 development team that the BUG_REPORT_URL for Pi OS variant is wrong, if should not default to the core distro bug reporting URL, but to the Raspbain or Pi OS variant URL. If anyone uses the reportbug package on Pi OS, it sends bug reports to the wrong URL. # cat...

Re: Won't boot with usb a extra SSD/HDD plugged in.

Yeah, a created customized USB connector, that isolated the power pin, and Pi boots with the hub connected. So the hub is trying to back power the Pi, and failing to do it well enough for the pi to get an initial boot.

Re: Was it intended to have option to power pi via USB port?

Cool, thanks everyone. That is pretty much what I figured was the case. In happens that I only plan to power Pi Zeros via the USB port. I would not consider running 'larger' Pi devices via USB at all.

Re: Pi Image Creation? Hardware Differences?

The only exception I know of explicitly is the binaries for Node.js. The ARMv6 variant will run on ARMv7 hardware, but as I recall the ARMv7 binaries have issues running on ARMv6. This implies that a generic image created on ARMv6 hardware is functional, but not the other way around. Of course, talk...

Re: How to disable automatic file system expansion on first boot?

I wish people would stop referencing /boot/cmdline.txt as a solution, it is NOT viable. The only way to stop the automatic partition resizing/file system expansion in due course, is to completely disable the resize2fs_once script which is triggered via /etc/init.d mechanism. This was or is a bit qui...

Ok, so the title is a bit vague... by the real console, I am trying to find the console that is 'always' created when the Pi device is booted.
