SD card: confused by schematics

Hi to all users! I was taking a look about schematics for microSD card (or EMMC) on Raspberry devices. Here I can see BCM2835 (GPIO48 to GPIO53) connected to SD-card powered at 3.3V. 33 Ohm resistor on all lines. http://crsengineering.altervista.org/downloads/raspberry/microSD_Raspberry_Pi_1.jpg Usu...

Re: Kiosk (readonly) with Buster: how to?

AFAIK, you can configure "Overlay FS" from the Performance tab of the Raspberry Pi Configuration program (in the menu under Preferences). (Checked on 64bit beta, but 32bit should be the same.) No tutorial required! "Overlay FS" not present, I can only set read-only /boot p...

Kiosk (readonly) with Buster: how to?

Hi guys, I'm creating a kiosk using buster image (2021-05-07), all is correctly working. Now I would like to set filesystem in read-only mode to prevent SD damage. I wasted several days following guides found on the web, I can't still get working system. Is there known tutorial for readonly Buster (...

Hiding faces for privacy?

I would like to install webcams made by Raspberry Pi + Camera board to periodically get lanscape images and place pictures on website.
I can't do this due to privacy, I'm a totally beginner about this: is there available some software I can use for face detection and pixelize faces?
Thanks.

Double value give me different print, why?

Hi guys, I have little doubt about printing same value and I can't understand what's wrong: starttime is a double (epoch time seconds+microsecond), here a semplification of code: starttime = 1620041022.376000; wf.trh2.starttime = starttime; When I print (printf %f) values I get different result: pri...

Migrating from microcontroller: interrupts?

Hi guys, actually I'm writing code on dsPIC from Microchip. I have master sync (PPS from GPS receiver), alternate sync (PPS from RTC), sync out (1 to 4 kHz square wave) for ADC. I have interrupts on both sync signals, also on returning output signal to read ADC data ready interrupt. Output square wa...

Re: Periodically update DS3231 RTC with NTP

My Pi is a Pi 4. Since the DS3231 is not an mcu and can't be programmed to run on it's own, I don't think It's what I need. I wanted to program the SCL Pin of the DS3231 as an output pin to write to and GPIO4 as an input pin to read from. The idea here is that the Pi will send kicks to the DS3231 t...

Here my config.txt settings.
I tested several options, none working.

Code: Select all

#dtoverlay=sdio,poll_once=0,bus_width=4,gpios_34_39=1,sdio_overclock=33

Thanks.
CM1? Not that I know of. Why?
CM1 is so useful for low-power (battery) industrial/portable purposes... CM4 form factor is much more better than CM1 form factor.
