Re: evaluation of 24 digital inputs

at each of the 24 test tube locations: - have a ir proximity sensor - add an led at each position have a pi read the qr code and either - light the led to show operator where to place the test tube the proximity sensor will let you know if it was placed in the correct slot or - log what slot the ope...

Re: New product Announcement!

looks great! The new propeller 2 has something similar "smart" pins. I just ordered some pico's :) Exciting news! I've ordered two. I'm very curious about the PIO peripherals, not something I have seen before on a microcontroller. Would be great to have a video about these. +1, the nearest...

Re: X86-64 on my PI 4B 8GB

Hello, I bought an Pi 4B 8GB 3 weeks ago for 1 purpose. I had to run an app on something which would run 24/7 which sends over items and data. I could've hired an VPS but I saw the PI as an investment since longterm it will save me money. The app turned out to be X86-64. Now I've spent last 4h rese...

Yes but this is only a very simple python script. We don't know how simple, depends on the interaction of the elements. OP wrote: "To give you some idea of the 'elements' involved, it will involve driving a screen, reading std sensors, using momentary switches, driving LEDs and playing sound f...

They normally run on 5v but quite a few will work at 3v3 Most are digital, but some have analog outputs, for which you need an adc Hi all, (Just for the record i'm a complete Noob!) I was wondering you you can help? I have a Pi 4 and i want to use the sensors that "elegoo 37 sensors" have ...

Re: Custom HAT

Not to sound discouraging, but are you aware how much developing and producing such a hat would cost? Any idea where one could order a custom HAT for the Raspberry Pi 4? I'd like to have a simple prototype with GNSS, a BME280 and a Gyro+Compass sensor. I am looking for a turnkey solution, not just P...

you might want to check if your sensors can be sampled at that rate

why do you need so many accelerometers etc?

btw sounds like you re trying to measure the acceleration of a hobby or sounding rocket

Re: How to make communication between Raspberry Pi and Motor Driver(Danfoss FC-302) using Modbus TCP/IP

look at your routers dhcp client list to find the Danfoss FC 302 ip address, then look for modbus tcp clients to communicate with it. Hello, I am new to this communication. I want to make communication between RPi and Danfoss FC 302 using Modbus TCP/IP as written in the subject. But i can not make a...

Re: External hard drive is behaving strangely with Pi 4

best guess: trying to power from the pi, and not getting enough power LaCie P9227 Slim Media is its name and it's currently formatted with exfat. On other computers it works perfectly. On the Raspberry Pi 4, the drive makes strange beeping sounds, and crashes the whole system seemingly at random. Wh...

The STM32 series has installers available for Debian and generic linux. Will the Debian
installer work on Raspbian? I am looking into using the STM32 Cube Programmer in
UART bootloader mode to flash the MCU.
Thanks,

I will try this, and get back to you. My 8Gb Pi4 is at home, and I am in my office today... but I will build sdcc on my 4Gb Pi4 here today. Slightly off-topic but if one cannot build on a Pi; being able to burn compiled code from a Pi is rather moot .. I just got sdcc built on my rpi4 8gb. Does it c...
