I second this, but I'd rather see one of the numerous clones get to the point where it's a viable alternative. Bonus points if it's not Java-based. :D

Looks nice, but I can't figure out the controls. :oops: Is there an rc file somewhere I'm not seeing?

I see it should support joysticks, but my gamepad does nothing. The old QAOP cursor keys don't work either.

Here's the settings in /boot/config.txt that work on my install. YMMV.


Have a mess about with the overscan values, try increments of 5 initially, then just tweak from there.

OpenELEC loads quite cleanly, looks like it just appends 'quiet' to the kernel line and uses something like splashy after the rootfs is brought online. Right, probably about time I stopped lurking and gave something back... :) FCEU (original, not FCEUX) works pretty well for me here on Arch, sound too. I had to decrease the bitrate to 11025kHz to get it to work without any audio defects, but for the 2A03 chip, it's barely noticable. :) I think that...
