Re: Cloud-Cloud synchronization and migration?

I could mount both, but how will it manage copying if local storage is less the cloud content? This is not a problem. Files are copied one by one on the fly. Even a file is not stored locally when it is being copied. Simply rsync opens a origin file in read mode and its associated destination file ...

Re: Qbittorrent autostart

Doing this starts the qbittorrent but it's Web GUI remains inaccessible. Have to quit the qbittorrent and manually restart it to get it fully functioning. I have installed qbittorrent in a headless RPI 4B running Buster and I have added the line @qbittorrent to the file /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE-pi/a...

Re: Cloud-Cloud synchronization and migration?

How do you access to the remote files stored in the clouds?. Are you able to mount both clouds on two local mount-points?. The very best sync tool is rsync:

Code: Select all

Partial success, the NetShare feature on the HAAS is now working with a new image on the Pi. I have a beta test going with another piece of equipment using a second Pi Zero as a storage device. I used that image since it works fine with a Win7 laptop. The only issue I have now is the HAAS will see ...

Re: Raspberry Pi Zero W networking to Industrial Machine

@lmarmisa I think you have not read the posts properly. My understanding is that the RPi can access the HAAS files. That is HAAS as server and RPi as client. What is not working is HAAS as client and RPi as server. Yes, sorry. I realized the mistake but I was busy and I was not able to modify the p...

Re: Raspberry Pi Zero W networking to Industrial Machine

Samba defines a client/server architecture. HAAS is the server side and RPi is the client side. First of all, you have to install the Samba client: sudo apt-get install smbclient The access to the samba server from the GUI is very easy. Simply open the RPi File Manager and type a line like this in t...

Re: Raspberry Pi Zero W networking to Industrial Machine

If the HAAS VF2's machines use a Linux based control, the most convenient protocols to connect both machines (HAAS and RPi) would be ssh, scp and sftp. This is the natural way to communicate two Linux machines. These protocols are 100% encrypted and secure. Even no password is necessary if you defin...

If the network of the cluster is isolated and composed only by 4 RPis and one unmanaged switch, there is no DHCP server on that scenario.
