Re: Pi 400 no video signal after entering sd card.

Hi i purchased a pi400 kit for a school course and now that i am planning on giving it away i reformated the sd card and reinstalled Raspbian via the imager. Hotplug is supported with the full KMS driver, which is now the default with Bullseye.
That clarifies things - since said "full KMS driver" is "relatively new"

Re: raspberry pi 3+ won't boot from usb with multiple drives

I can't start RPi3+ over USB when I have more than one usb device connected. One of the USB device is the OS located in an ssd. I've already set up fstab and cmdline.txt with UUID and it still doesn't start. Any suggestion? Thanks What are you using for a power supply? Can you boot from a uSD card ...

Re: Create an image from Raspberry Pi Imager

I like the Raspberry Pi Imager and it works well except for one issue. My company has antivirus software that won't allow the changes to the boot portion of a "drive" (the SD card in this case). They do have one imaging program white listed (Rufus), but all it does take an image file (.im...

Re: HDMI Port Not Working

Is this a known issue that is being tracked? Is there any work around or fix? AFIK hotplug is worked on, but seems trickier than expected. Has any Pi ever supported "hotplug" of HDMI? It's not something I would do anyway as, to some extent "hotplugging" (or unplugging) I conside...

Re: STICKY: Bullseye - Comments and bug reports thread.

This is expected behaviour when running through VNC - its doesn't have the privileges to reboot. You'll probably find the same when you try and shutdown via VNC as well. Surprised to hea! I'm rebooting and shutting down via VNC usually without issues (as many of the Pi's around me have a display bu...

Re: Pi 400 not booting when USB 3 SSD connected

Not relevant, but... You guys seem to have a lot of extra stuff in your bootloader configuration. My USB booted Bullseye64 system only has this. [all] BOOT_UART=0 WAKE_ON_GPIO=1 POWER_OFF_ON_HALT=0 And my older 4B (which I've manually tweaked a bit) has this. [all] BOOT_UART=0 WAKE_ON_GPIO=0 POWER_...

Re: attached SSD stopping sd card booting

Hi, I've attached an SSD drive to my Pi3b+ with my music library on it, when I reboot the pi it hangs and can't complete the usual SD card boot. I'm not experienced enough to know where to look to deal with this, my searches just turn up users with SSD's attached as their main drive - i'm not seein...

Re: Pi 400 not booting when USB 3 SSD connected

I just finished upgrading everything (full-upgrade), rebooted several times as well. The problem remains :/ O.K. Now, assuming a USB-to-SATA interface is involved, we need to check its chipset, so can you boot the P400 from a uSD card, then connect the USB-connected SSD and post the output of these...

I've been looking at dual mains switched sockets that come with dual USB chargers (3.1A total between the 2 USB's). Ok I updated raspi-config and selected the SD boot option. vcgencmd bootloader_config now shows

Code: Select all

BOOT_ORDER=0xf41
as yours.

Nothing else changed though and I still get the same error during boot.
Did you only update raspi-config rather than an update and full-upgrade of the whole system?
