OpenWRT Raspberry Pi Zero W

Hi, I am looking to install OpenWRT on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. According to OpenWRT, this model of Pi is supported. However, I can't find a link to install Firmware, only upgrade it, for the Raspberry Pi Zero W. Would anyone be able to advise as to a firmware version that is supported? Link to OpenWR...

Re: TP-LINK TL-WN823N V1 Wi-Fi Adapter Driver

Thanks, would the following still work in wpa_supplicant.conf - replacing country, SSID and password as appropriate?

country=us
update_config=1
ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant

network={
scan_ssid=1
ssid="MyNetworkSSID"
psk="Pa55w0rd1234"
}

TP-LINK TL-WN823N V1 Wi-Fi Adapter Driver

Hi there I have the latest version of Raspbian Buster on a Model A and would like to use the TP-LINK TL-WN823N V1 Wi-Fi Adapter with my Pi so my Pi can use Wi-Fi for internet access. Unfortunately, there isn't any support from TP-LINK for using the Version 1 Adapter on a Raspberry Pi with an earlier...

Ethernet and Wi-Fi on a Pi Hole?

I've currently got a Pi Hole set up on my home network which is connected to my router via Wi-Fi. It functions if alter individual devices DNS settings to use a DNS of the Pi's IP - however I am yet to take the plunge to configure the router to use the Pi's IP as DNS. In my home network setup, there...

Pi cable management

Hi I have an awful lot of cables behind my TV for the Pi, HDMI cables, power cables, USB cables e.t.c, and it is starting to get a bit annoying. I have tied cables together e.t.c but its still a mess. Are there any cable management boxes suitable for the Pi so I can tidy it all up? The cables do mak...

Wifi on Pi via WPS

Hi there

I would like to connect my Pi to my home internet via WPS. It does have a wifi dongle hooked up and my router does have a WPS button. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

It's a sky router if that helps.

Re: Pi's refusing to boot

Hi there

I use HDMI. I changed the config file the other day to get HDMI to work and it did fix it, but for some reason today there was no display of the pi booting. I configured it right, it's just there is no HDMI.

Pi's refusing to boot

Hi there My Pi's just won't boot. The lights flash on the boards to indicate the SD cards are being read, but there is no boot code or anything. I am really confused. They work fine one day, the next they don't work and then they come back to life another day. It's weird. If I can't get them to boot...

Hi there I have managed to fix the issue. The switch was a very similar model to yours where it can have external power if needed. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Duronic-HRS1051-Port-Switch-Remote/dp/B00204ENRK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1409843853&sr=8-3&keywords=5+port+hdmi+switch Does anyone kno...

Re: No HDMI

Hi there

The HDMI channel is automatically detected (I use a HDMI Switch).
Are there other settings in the config that will need to be changed in
order to get HDMI out of the Pi?

I don't think its a dodgy cable, I have used the same brand in a Pi before.

Re: No HDMI

Hi there

The TV is on when I turn the Pi on. It seems that the Pi is reading the SD, but nothing is appearing on the display. Uncommenting the hotplug line I mentioned earlier worked for my Model B, but for some silly reason it's not working for this Pi.

No HDMI

Hi there

My B+ won't seem to display anything through HDMI. I've uncommented
#hdmi_force_hotplug=1 in the config and it hasn't done anything.

Help please!

Re: (Windows) Bluetooth Dongle Not Working

Hi there I do have a Bluetooth dongle in my Pi which looks like the Signalex one and that works fine. I don't think the bluetooth dongle I am trying to use in Windows is faulty, as sometimes the Windows Bluetooth Client will appear but then disappear. I am trying to think if a program is blocking it...

Re: Raspberry Pi camera server - HELP ME!

Hi there Here are the possible issues causing you not to be able to connect: 1. Something is wrong with the Wi-Fi settings of the Pi 2. The Pi has lost Wi-Fi signal (Out of Range) 3. The IP and Port you have put in your browser are wrong I assume the Pi is set up just for your home network? If it is...

Re: similar credit-card-size PC that runs windows?

Hi there I would suggest getting a Mini Barebones PC off eBuyer. Check the system requirements of the version of Windows you wish to use to see if something like a Raspberry Pi could run it. I know a new development board called the MIPS Creator CI20 is available for some chosen developers, but it's...

Not many posts with B+ signature.

I can't really answer the second question. There is such thing as an Access Point, but I'm not sure about AP on Rpi.

Re: Corrupted USB Stick

Hi there

I have managed to fix it. I plugged the stick in another computer and it found it. I then knew it wasn't dead so I ejected it and put it back in the computer I was using. I managed to change the drive letter from E to H and now it works.

Thanks for all your help anyway!

Hi I think it was used in a Raspberry Pi, but I ended up removing it as I found out I didn't actually need it. Disk Management shows the USB Stick, but you can't format it or anything from there. Are there any good Windows usb stick repair programs out there which are safe and free that I could use?...

Hi I know this is not related to Raspberry Pi, but I have been having trouble with my Sandisk Cruzer Edge USB Stick. I need to use it and it just won't come up on Windows.
