If you run VNC Server you're forced to use OpenBox in place of Mutter but this way you also retain your hotkeys such as Ctrl+Alt+T for Terminal etc... :)
Well spotted ;)

it's most likely because your in a vnc session it's using openbox.
You are correct, VNC is doing that. How annoying and yes right click does not work with VNC off and full Mutter enabled.

So guess we wait for some sort of update

Re: Bullseye window drop shadow...gone

Are you still running Mutter? as some things like VNC Server will switch to Openbox After doing some more playing you are correct VNC is on with this Pi and that seems to indeed disabled Mutter, when I turn VNC off the drop shadow is back. So I assume we need to wait for the VNC folks to fix that?

that's the openbox window menu, mutter has nothing on right click, your not using mutter.
It says I'm using mutter, unless I'm looking at the wrong thing?

Re: Bullseye - Comments and bug reports thread.

Biggest disappointment so far is the loss of the "Always on Top" option for windows (especially LXTerminal). It can still do it, right click top of window, set layer to always on top. What Raspberry Pi are you using? If it's not a Pi4 2GB or better then you will have a different experienc...

Bullseye window drop shadow...gone

Im sure when I first installed the new OS I had drop shadow around the windows and now I don't seem to be seeing It now.

Have them changed something again?

Can it be toggled on and off?

Re: Could a PICO do this (audio visualizer)

Yes easily. Input the audio into one of the ADC channels and perform either an FFT if you want equally spaced frequency bins or a series of DFTs or better still a wavelet filter bank if you want octave spaced bins. Then pass the results to the other core to drive the LEDs. Thank you for this info, ...

The " CPUFreq frontend " Panel Applet no longer appear on the taskbar (after added) with " Bullseye ". It used to work just fine with " Buster ". I think that is the one that doesn't like GTK3. There is another applet for CPU that does work. I'm using all 3 of them (in...

I can confirm for me on a 3B adding the "nocomposite" to the line below works I get a proper sized 720P dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d,nocomposite The headless resolution works on Pi4. Maybe on pi0-3 the composite resolution is overriding it. Does: dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d,nocomposite (Replacing the e...
