You might want to give your (home) server a domain name and use that URL to upload videos from anywhere. Either buy one or use dynamic dns (free). Then configure your home router to forward the relevant ports to the pi.

Have you done the install as he says on his github? Copy the echem directory to the home directory. Copy bash_profile to the home directory and rename it to .bash_profile (note the period). Ok quickest route to success is put Raspberry pi OS on a new microSD card using Raspberry Pi Imager (forget noobs), retest.

Ok quickest route to success is put Raspberry pi OS on a new microSD card, install docker and Unifi docker image, retest.

I installed and ran it OK on a pi using Buster GUI after fixing the missing dependency libegl1-mesa

In their diagram, the resistor has colour coded bands: red,red,brown, so it is 220 ohms.
