Re: Micro SD card not working for Raspberry Pi 4

Hello, I have just recently purchased a raspberry pi 4 and I'm trying to install Raspberry Pi OS (32-bit) using your Raspberry pi imager. But I cannot get the raspberry pi to boot up. After many attempts, I finally got to the point where I have code popping up on my desktop but cannot figure out wh...

have you confirmed that the HiFiberry DAC+ Zero worked with other RPi boards that you have?

also, what is the OS are you using for this setup?

Re: Using 2 USB drives... One disconnects randomly, need help

is the samsung drive unusually hot? there are USB 3.0 thumbdrives that heat up when in use... and might be causing it to loose contact and thus disconnect... (remembered putting heatsink on RPi1A+'s USB port where a USB3.0 WiFi adapter was plugged, because of "excessive heat" on the USB po...

plug the power adapter to something like one of these switched sockets.jpg but make sure to do proper shutdown before turning off the switch otherwise you'll risk corrupting your boot media (microSD).... and you'll have to start all over again... pictured below is similar to what I usually use: Swit...

Re: How to check if Moode is ready to work?

Especially something that could then be used to switch power from two different sources (5v and 8v) just a word of caution: do not power the RPi board with more than 5.35v else bye-bye RPi (and you'll have a hard time getting a new one at this point in time due to supply limitations) I'd like to he...

Re: Raspberry multiple sound cards

From HiFiBerry's support forum:

you can't use more than a single DAC on a Raspberry Pi. This is a technical limitation of the Raspberry Pi sound interface.

but its possible if using several USB sound cards

Re: Has anyone tried a home personal cloud?

if you have DIY phobia, get an off-the-shelf consumer NAS if a bit adventurous...you'll need: 1. Raspberry Pi (at least RPi3B) 2. microSD card (at least 16GB) 3. 5.1v 3A PSU (not some charger please!) 4. a single USB HDD of your choice of capacity 5. Optional (but highly recommended, a LAN cable CAT...

Re: Plugging Raspberry Pico into RPI4's Blue ports cause RPI4 to restart

so what else is connected to the RPi4B, before you plugged in the RPi Pico

list those up (and if possible their current consumption rating if available)
include anything connected to the GPIO header

and your power source is what?

First, will this run on a Zero? Smoothly, with minimal lag between the web page request aand the GPIO activation? On the 400 it does. expect more lag Is it sufficient for me to then configure the cloned card to boot to terminal or do I need to remove the desktop? if you cloned from a desktop setup,...

as external data storage, both the ASMedia and JMicron equipped adapters work fine the only problem is when the drive is used as a boot drive, then ASMedia is the only one to select. below is a setup of a SSD boot RPi4B with a 1TB 3.5" HDD in Orico self powered HDD case as external storage RPi4...

I'd do this using any of the methods below... hack the turn signal switch, then put magnetic sensors (or micro-switch) on each side of the turn signal switch (for the left and right turn) the magnetic sensors (or micro-switch) will be the one to activate the relay for the light... another is to hack...
