disabling UAS on Grub in Ubuntu 21.04

Mon Sep 20, 2021 4:21 pm

Hello every one,
I'm pretty much new to the raspberry world.

On Raspian OS I could change the /boot/cmdline.txt file and disable UAS and let my Samsung SSD work.
However, when I changed the OS to ubuntu 21.04 the problem came back.
I can not access to grub by pressing esc or right or left shift.
Also in /etc/grub.d/ or /boot/grub/ or /etc/default/grub there is no such file.
can it happen that an ubuntu OS does not have boot loader?

what is my solution to disable UAS?

Thanks

Try looking in /boot/firmware/

You need to edit:

/boot/firmware/cmdline.txt - you can Google the exact name.
Yes; it can work fine without UAS.
