Add

hdmi_pixel_freq_limit=400000000

to config.txt to see if that helps. This 3440x1440 seems to have a very high pixel frequency, higher even than the higher resolution 4kp60, which is a bit strange, but must be some reason for it.

Hi,

I seem to have the same problem.

I use a 64 Bit Raspi4.
Linux raspberrypi 5.4.79-v8+ #1373 SMP PREEMPT Mon Nov 23 13:32:41 GMT 2020 aarch64 GNU/Linux

I have tried to some options in config.txt, but they didn't help.

Have now my uwqhd screen running proper resolution of 3440x1400 @ 60Hz on my PI400 Screen cable connected next to sd card slot.

sudo nano /boot/config.txt

I figured it out. Raspi4 with a Samsung CF791 connected to HDMI port 0 (the one next to the USB powerport).

It took me a while to make it working, so here's what I have in /boot/config.txt for iiyama G-Master GB3461WQSU-B1 34" 3440×1440. I hope someone will find it helpful:

Thanks - those settings helped me too! I have an Acer 34 inch widescreen monitor that can support HDMI at 100hz and Display Port at 144Hz in 3440x1440 resolution. These work flawlessly on my windows and mac devices, but were limited to 60hz in that resolution on a Raspberry pi. Using the above settings, when I changed the 60 number to 75, it switched to 75hz. However, i still cannot get 100hz support over HDMI when I change the settings of the hdmi_cvt command.

I cannot complain, but apart from thanking the above post, I also wanted to ask if there was a different hdmi_pixel_freq_limit that i need to use to support higher refresh rates?

Hello, new user here...
When I am in the config.txt files, where do I make these changes? I have a 3440x1440 MSI Optix MAG341CQ 34" that I have been unsuccessful to run my Raspberry Pi 4 off of. I am currently using it on my TV and would like to have it on my desk. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
