Issue with Raspi-config in SSH session

Fri Sep 24, 2021 2:51 am

When I'm in an SSH session and try to run sudo raspi-config on my new RP 4 8GB, it starts but it doesn't show the menu. I am running the latest version of putty and raspberry pi os. I've installed all updates. Has anyone seen this issue before?

What does happen in place of it showing the menu?

Hi,

You are trying to ssh from windows (correct ?)

Can you try with MobaXterm ? here: https://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/download- ... ition.html (chose portable version ...)
(Maybe something not well set with putty, mobaXterm will handle everything, even X term if you need)

Cheers

if using w$10, no need to install/use putty

use w$ PowerShell

and connect via ssh to RPi (or other linux terminals) by entering the usual syntax
"Don't come to me with 'issues' for I don't know how to deal with those
Come to me with 'problems' and I'll help you find solutions"
