Simple schematic of the GPIO pin out
I wanted to check the GPIO capabilities of my pi but I couldn't find any good diagrams so I made my own. I thought I'd post it, in case it could help someone else. SVG available upon request.

Always good to have more about.
These already existed:-

Re: Simple schematic of the GPIO pin out
I hadn't seen the details. That's great, thanks!

As the original artist* of the wiki one, I have to say I like yours, particularly as you've managed to put in the video socket and SD card for reference.

Re: Simple schematic of the GPIO pin out
The primary reason I did my own, was because I wasn't 100% sure which way to orient my Pi based on the wiki one. Time permitting I'll do another one, with the UARTs and other specialty pins labeled more like the wiki one.

Re: Simple schematic of the GPIO pin out
Excellent diagram and good to see proper GPIO references.
I created this one :
http://www.raspberrypi-spy.co.uk/2012/0 ... -and-pins/
but didn't think to make it obvious which way round it was other than P1 is marked on the Pi itself ... but many people may not stop to notice that!
Are you going to host your diagram anywhere? Wouldn't mind linking to it as it is a good alternative for people.

Re: Simple schematic of the GPIO pin out
I was messing around with Google Docs's Draw app, so here's yet another one:
