piFBA enhanced (4 players mode and more)

Hi pals,

I made few modifications on piFBA by Squid.
First, thanks to him and all people that allow us to make enraged gaming nights with our friends on ours little raspberries :)

Here we go : https://github.com/digitalLumberjack/pifba

What is up :
- You can now configure d-pad per button (in case sdl does not detect the hat on the controller) so it adds the ps3 d-pad control on all games
- You can now choose a HOTKEY and QUIT Button (I hate accidentally quit with start+select :))
- You can now pass the configuration file as an argument when you start the program in command line like
./fba2x --configfile configfile.cfg
- And the last but not least : You can now play in 4 players mode !


I removed capex from the source, and for now you will have to build the binary. I'll make a binary release soon but now it's time to play.

Good job. Ps3 support will help getting arcade cabs configured.

Do you have any plan to put Capex on source again?

Hi, no plan to put capex in sources or release but you can use the one in squid binaries :)

My 1944 runs well...
Did you tried with other roms ?

If you want to rotate the screen it should not be too difficult with few modifications on source code.

Now,I know what's wrong,
after I copy roms to the new' pifba/roms/ ,it runs well.

I want to run all shootinggames with the following 3 cfg

./fba2x --configfile 1944.cfg roms/1944.zip
./fba2x --configfile 1944_rotate_clockwise_90.cfg roms/1944.zip
./fba2x --configfile 1944_rotate_anticlockwise_90.cfg roms/1944.zip

can you help to make it ?

Hi,

Check the new release : https://github.com/digitalLumberjack/pi ... es/tag/0.2

You will be able to rotate games 90° clockwise.

I just used existing code already used to rotate vertical games and i disable that rotation when you set RotateScreen to 1 in the config file :)

Hi how to choose a QUIT Button? I am using Logitech's F310 Gamepad. I want the middle button be the quit button

No I cannot do that. The modification i made for the rotation was just a little if, the code was already written. However the rotation is clockwise. I don't have time to edit the code now but if you want to take a look, begin here :
