Hello everyone,
I just received a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Vi.2 from CanaKit.
Is there a schematic available for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Vi.2 board?
I went to raspberrypi.org to download the schematic and found the Model B schematic here
https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... /README.md
The schematic there is RPI00022.
The first thing I noticed is there isn't any reference to Pi 2 or Pi 3, just Raspberry Pi Revision 2, Model B.
Next, the silkscreen on the Raspberry Pi 3, Model B board doesn't match the schematic for the GPIO pin header. In the schematic (and in other places on the Raspberry Pi website) it looks like this header is referred to as P1, but on the Pi 3 board and on the quick start card that came in the box this header is referred to as J8.
This makes me question of there are other differences between the RPI00022 schematic and the Raspberry Pi 3, Model B board.
Thanks for your help with this.
Ed
Re: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Vi.2 Schematic
Hi,
no is the short answer and this question has been asked many times. The pin-outs of the connectors are well documented however so the need for full schematics is questionable.
This is not CM related so moving to General, and locking.
