Arduino IDE Incompatibility

Fri Jul 20, 2012 2:24 am

I am using the current Raspbian image from the downloads section with the arduino IDE from the official repository (apt-get install arduino). The IDE runs fine, but it fails to compile a library that I am working on. This library compiles fine on two other computers in my house, so I think Raspbian's arduino IDE is to blame.

My library consists of the standard header file (.H) and the code file (.CPP) in the library's root folder. There are about a dozen more header and code files inside a folder called 'utilities'. This folder is automatically compiled by the IDE whenever it is present in a library. The problem is that the IDE can't find the header files located there for some reason, as I get an error that it can't find the files. The entire library was copied directly from a different computer, where it was working just fine.

If anybody can shed some light on this issue, it would be much appreciated. Thank you.
