Reboot works fine for me. Are you sure you added www-data to your sudoers file?

I am currently working on an android app and would like to implement it with Raspcontrol is that ok with you?
Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
That's fine, the project is Open Source under the GNU Public Licence Version 2.minimattapps wrote:I am currently working on an android app and would like to implement it with Raspcontrol is that ok with you?
Let us know more about what you want to do and we can help you out and write something on our blog! http://www.raspcontrol.com

Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
I was hoping to just make calls via your web interface but have a native app to do it.
Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
Data mining is of course all right, but I don't think Raspcontrol has an API for external application, so there's no guarantee your app will work with future revisions of Raspcontrol.minimattapps wrote:I was hoping to just make calls via your web interface but have a native app to do it.

Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
I have made some progress on the app. I have made a add-on for Raspcontrol so I can get the raw non formated values. App should be ready in a week or so.

What size of screen are you running? I have a small netbook with a screen that's ~10" and I've seen the same but it's OK on a full size monitor.oakfan52 wrote:I'm having an issue with the formating of the etxt on the page. Its cut off.

Because there are so many vertical pixels available certain things will overlap even if it's appearing as white space.
Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
I can't understand why the text is cutting off, what screen size are you rocking?

My netbook has a height of 600 so you have slightly better than me, but at the same time I very much suspect that this is where the issue lies.

It looks fine using Chrome.

Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
quick question, ive updated to the latest raspcontrol but cant see how it would automatically update in future?
Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
A button will appear when an update has been published but is hidden in the mean time rather than having it visible and allowing itself to be clicked when there's no update that requires to be installed.
It's actually a lie to call it an auto updater, but it is very much easier than before, only requiring a button click and no ftp/console access. It would be possible to automate it 100%, but that would be rather dangerous in my opinion just in case someone is experimenting with the php when an update is sent out, then it overwrites their work.

Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
This seems to be an issue with the free space checking, right now we're using a function built within PHP to display the free and used space which is obviously causing an issue when people have other mounted storage to the Pi.
I will look into this and I will stage an issue bugfix to get this sorted

Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
I did a bunch of work to fix what I thought was a similar but different issue at the time (also relating to mounted drives) but then deleted it as i was being a bit of a numpty and my problem was caused by something stupid I was doing.
I expect the same code would resolve this so I'll try and remember how I did it and get something tested.

Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
Over the past few weeks Raspcontrol has really been picking up speed. There are 5 active developers speaking languages all over the world developing it, an Android App Developer plugging into the system to release his “PiControl” app and over 1’000+ installations on peoples Pi’s all over the globe.
Raspcontrol even got it’s own domain and site over at: http://www.raspcontrol.com which I urge you to checkout!
I’m loving developing Raspcontrol and I’m sure many people are finding it useful! Here is a quick change log since the last time I updated you on Raspcontrol.
Active Users now shown with TTY, Login Time, IP and Username
Firmware Update using Hexxes lovely updater tool
Ability to auto-update Raspcontrol when new releases are available.
Network information, amount of connections and Upload/Download Statistics over Eth0 (Ethernet)
A sexy UI and better formatted uptime
Distribution, Kernel and Firmware information display
Status Icons for each of the moduals
Information for all mounted storage devices
Here’s a quick roadmap of whats to come
Firewall installation and management from within Raspcontrol
O/S User Management
Virtual Hosts Management for LightHTTP, Apache2 & NGINX
File Manager
Task Manager
Munin Intergration
Let me know what you think in the comments below!!

Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi
Fantastic news and a great project. I'd love to contribute, but I'm somewhat lacking on the intricacies of developing with Github... I'm a developer by trade but I can't find a beginners guide to get myself into it. Managed to pull the project into my area on Github, but... Argh.
I'll keep installing the updates from you though!
