Install Scratch 2 on Raspberry Pi OS?

Apologies if this is answered elsewhere - I have tried searching and everything I'm finding is blog or forum posts that are at least a couple years old, referring to older versions of Raspbian. Is it still possible to install Scratch 2 on Raspberry Pi OS (which as far as I can tell, now only ships with Scratch 3)?

If you use a Raspberry Pi 4, you need to update your system to get a new copy of the software.
