custom mode for IMX219

Thu Nov 24, 2022 4:11 pm

Hello,

I'm interested in running the imx219 in a custom raw mode where there is no binning.
ideally I'd like to operate it at 206 fps in a real 1280x960 pix (akin to the SRGGB8 mode at 640x480 which, if I understand correctly does a 2x2 binning).
How should I go about it? if I want to edit the imx219.c driver, should I build raspbian from scratch?
Thanks

Michael

You need to rebuild the kernel, not the whole OS.

You can read the datasheet as someone else released it - https://github.com/rellimmot/Sony-IMX21 ... Pi-V2-CMOS
