Changing safety config defaults

I am trying to install WINE onto Raspberry Pi Debian (on raspberry pi). Because they have not got it signed. When I tried doing

sudo apt update

, it freaked out and said "Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default." and it then says "See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details". If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated! (I just want to install some software, so I'm hoping this is simple and I am dumb!)

This is more likely to be because WINE requires an Intel processor, and the Raspberry Pi uses ARM. apt is trying to stop you installing something that won't work.

Last time I checked there was an ARM port of WINE in the RPiOS repos but I've no idea if it's present in Debian. Maybe the OP should ask them?

@OP: even with a ARM build of WINE you still won't be able to run most Windows applications as they're compiled for x86 CPUs.

It is still causing me problems with other installs like pi apps. How do I change it anyways?

What version of Raspberry Pi OS are you using?

The most recent: it was released 22/9/22. I am not sure what the version is

It is the default, Raspberry Pi OS 32-bit
