Ups modual mains switch V drop
Pi powered via UPS modual when I switch from mains to battery their is a voltage drop just large enough to power down the pi is it possible to even this out with a few capacitors or would I need a better ups module?
Re: Ups modual mains switch V drop
What UPS module is it?
I’m using an APC Back-UPS 700 to power a pi4 and the fibre modem and a router - seems to work ok.

Re: Ups modual mains switch V drop
I have this model of APC Back UPS
BE850G2-UK
I too run a Vodafone modem and fibre box plus a Pi3 running PiHole.
We have many power cuts. Ranging from 1s or less up to 6 hours.
I've never had any of the equipment drop out.
The only thing I will say, is that I only get 1 hour of use from the backup which I think is poor for a 850VA system.

Get a proper computer UPS. USP modules "made for the Pi" are just an expensive joke/crap.
