Hello,
hope you are All well.
I wondered whether you would be able to help please.
My Pi 400 stopped working. When I connect the power supply (official one that came with it), the green power LED lights up for less than a second, then it turns off and nothing else happens. I tried different power supplies, with and without SD card/ USB devices connected, tried different SD cards and reinstalled the bootloader/ OS. The green power LED briefly lights up and then nothing.
Do you think that this is hardware or software related and is it repairable? The pi is now out of warranty.
Thank you,

Re: Raspberry Pi 400 does not power on
i had a Trash-80 model 1 (circa 1980). upgrading from 4k to 16k of RAM, i thought "i'll never use this much RAM".
Now i have a computer with a million times that much memory. And i keep running out of it.
Not the computer....ME.

thank you,
Already tried this. Probably a hardware issue.

I have the same issue.
Tried to disassemble the Pi 400, did not found any burned IC.
I noticed that the Pi400 draws ~230 mA prom power supply.
After fiddling with the internal heatsink, it started working, but stopped again after re-assembly...
No idea tough what could it be

Re: Raspberry Pi 400 does not power on
there have been a few reports of the microsd card contacts not making a good connection. Some add a piece of paper to push the card against the contacts to help. may or may not be an issue.... but as i was thinking about it, try installing the PI OS to a USB drive, and (removing the SD card) try booting off usb.
