New to ROS and have a question about old hardware.

Hi, I have a project comming up to control an ESP32 powered lidar bot.
I'm hearing that I need to run ROS on a host device and MicroROS on the bot.
I only have an RPI2B spare and wondered if that will run it and is there a good guide to microROS on the ESP32?

For microROS you might need to consult https://micro.ros.org/

I have the dreaded "Universe invalid error trying to install on an RPI4b 64bit.
