When using mutter on Raspberry (Lite with XServer), the background colour is brown. Is there any possibility to change it?
I try googling it and cannot find any solution. It should support gsettings, but changing values of "org.gnome.desktop.background" does nothing.
Re: mutter background colour
use an app to set the background.
Re: mutter background colour
Which app?
xsetroot does nothing, hsetroot does nothing, gnome-tweaks does nothing, gnome-control-center does nothing

Re: mutter background colour
why would those work, your not using gnome.
try feh if you want lite or nitrogen if you want friendly gui.
if you using pcmanfm, you can use that.
Re: mutter background colour
why not just run the desktop version, your essentially running the same thing in a round about way.
Re: mutter background colour
I don't think that my question talks about desktop version...
Re: mutter background colour
which is not related to my question, because mutter on Desktop also starts with brownish background.
