A new product from wisdpi - An Arduino-like Development Board with RP2040 MCU and WS2812 Matrix.

I found that they got a USB PID distributed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. That's cool.

I have checked their wiki and store. Well-documented and fairly priced.

AMS1117 when powered from 15V (max input voltage shown in the specs) produces 3.3V and needs to drop ~12V.
RGB LED event at 3.3V needs maybe 20-40mA? Say 30mA at full brightness. It gives 25*30mA ~0.75A
And dissipated/lost power (AMS1117) of 0.75A * 12V=9W.

Of course nobody will use the board at extreme condition...
