hey, when I use Scratch 3 in the browser, I can login, see and remix projects of others.
But in the Desktop app this seem unavailable.
Do I miss something?
Is it possible to use the 'social side' of scratch from within the desktop app? Or do I need to use the browser for this?
(the reason I ask is that I don't want to install a browser yet on the pi of my kids as it opens a whole new world they are not yet ready for)

Re: Scratch desktop app; connect to the scratch platform
Assuming you are referring to the NuScratch 1.4 system, the problem is that MIT changed the project file format, the website structure, and indeed pretty much everything when they created Scratch 2 and 3.
I *think* there are still older 1.4 project files out there but it’s been several years since I last had reason to check.
