Is it possible to have a raspberry pi 4b connected via usb to Lego ev3 brick running ev3dev and have communication?

So I have a raspberry pi 4 model b and I had the idea to have a camera on robot and to be able to control it via web interface.

My idea is to have raspberry pi and smart brick connected via usb, simultaneously providing power to the pi. The pi turns on, when connected, and it seems to be working fine, but there is no change in

, on both devices.

Idk, the usb-c port on the pi is normal usb port, right? I mean, it supports some serial connection?

I did some googling, but I can't figure out how to do this.

Is this even possible, in the way I imagined?
