I have a solution for a locked topic
In viewtopic.php?t=339811, the question was asked how to adjust the columns and rows of a serial console. I found a solution which works automatically. It might be useful for other users, too. Unfortunately the topic is already locked. Maybe it can be unlocked again if it is considered to be of general interest.
Re: I have a solution for a locked topic
To unlock a topic, press the "Report this post" button and tell the mods why you would like it to be unlocked.
Topics are automatically locked after 6 months to try to prevent continued discussion of things that are completely out of date now.

Is reporting really work for unlocking discussion?
Thanks for the solution by the way as I am new to this forum and it would be really helpful for me if this works.

Re: I have a solution for a locked topic
If you look at the linked thread, it has been unlocked and solutions were added after that. So yes, it does work as long as the moderators agree that you have something to add.
Topics get locked automatically after 6 months of no activity. This is to prevent comments on old, out of date topics which would bump them to the top in search lists and make them appear current. Also to prevent spambots from pointlessly posting on old threads.
