HTML & JavaScript On RPI?

Sun Feb 25, 2024 2:07 pm

I have a Raspberry Pi Zero W 2 and it has some programming apps like BlueJ Java IDE, Python, Wolfman, Thonny, Mathematica, and Mu. But, I noticed that my Pi has no HTML editors. How can I get an HTML and JavaScript editor on my Pi?

Have you tried the online COde editor? https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/html-code-editor/
And see this post viewtopic.php?t=361302

Yeah I tried online editors, such as CodePen and the RPI one but since I am editing on the RPI Zero W 2 it is really slow, so I was looking for an app to download. Do you have any ideas?

Interesting that you should ask about this. Especially since your post originally said:

What do you mean? I was asking which app to get on my RPI and someone said Vi and then you said Emacs. So I asked which is better.

You originally wrote Geany, then edited it to say Vi and Emacs.

As to which is better, only you can decide.

The other post I linked to had a list of editors: Pulsar...Eclipe...Scite
Have a look at those.

I'm great at Python, but just post your code in a new thread and someone will see it.

Is it the same code you've already posted multiple times? If it is, don't post it again. If it's different code then start a new topic.
Oh no, not again.

I took a look and found that Scite is the best. Thanks for the help. :D
