Just got my Rasperry Pi today, so far I'm loving it! Right now I'm using Raspbian Wheezy, and I'm getting the hang of using the command line for various tasks. It seems like omxplayer is included by default in Raspbian, but I have some minor sound issues that are quickly solved by launching omxplayer with the "-ohdmi" flag. The question I want to ask is: Is there a configuration or init file for omxplayer? I'd like to set it so that it always launches with the -ohdmi flag active, so I don't have to worry about forgetting to include it every time I want to launch a video. I've tried looking around the directories but I've had no luck finding such a file.
Your help is much appreciated!

Alright, I've found the shell script that opens up the bin. Where should I place the argument I want to place? The shell script for omxplayer goes:
Code: Select all
#!/bin/sh LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/vc/lib:/usr/lib/omxplayer:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH /usr/bin/omxplayer.bin "$@"
You can find the paths to processes like this by looking at the taskman with the full paths option selected. This post did help me realize that I want to use the bin instead of creating an extra process. Thanks.
