Where did you download RaspBMC from? If you've not tried it already, try the official download from the RaspBMC site. It's never failed me yet...

Re: RASPBMC
Can you be *very* specific about which file(s) you are talking about. Provide a link.

Re: RASPBMC
Go with NOOBS/RaspBMC it's two clicks of the mouse to get that running.

Re: RASPBMC
I've had the same trouble as Brian more than once installing RaspBMC via NOOBS, but I've no idea why. That's why I suggested using the genuine RaspBMC live installer as recommended by the author. I've never had a problem with it.

Hey Dougie I always grateful to you my friend always quick to help out and I am always very grateful ,but I lost count of times I tried the easy noobs way but it totally failed every single time and I still don't know why lol but once GTR2Fan said he had the same problem a few times and ended up in a mess like myself but sorted it by using the
RaspBMC live installer and it worked ,I just knew I had to have a try and it did indeed work so all's well that ends well ,keep the good work up my friend you and GTR2Fan will have your work out with folk like me lol take care Brian

Re: RASPBMC
You're most welcome, Brian. I have no idea why this problem occurs for some people (myself included), but I'm very glad the official installer got you there. Enjoy!scarrabri wrote:Unbelievable to say the least ,I have to say I am truly grateful to you my friend ,I left this to last because of how difficult it may have been and how stupid I can some times be ,and it worked a treat and boy am I pleased as it went straight in ,I have just got go back and add a few things now which is always the best part ,again truly grateful my friend best wishes Brian![]()
