Tontec touchscreen help!!!

Hi all,

I have followed the directions as posted here: http://engineering-diy.blogspot.ca/2013 ... creen.html

However... This step is not working for me:

After this step you should run xinput_calibrator(from Xserver terminal console: first startx then open console and then run it).
xinput_calibrator

I keep getting Error: no calibratable devices found.

WHY??? I have it plugged in via USB...

Since the first step in the tutorial is to run lsusb, perhaps you doing that and posting the output would be a start...

Did you build the kernel with eGalax touchscreen support enabled as stated in that post?

Frig. I am an uber idiot. I will start from the beginning. I figured if I just did as stipulated after Raspberry Pi I would be O.K..... Boy am I wrong.
