Hi everyone,
I would like to share my Home & Garden automation system based on Raspberry PI and several Arduino boards.
Heart of this garden system is Opensprinkler PI with my modified firmware to talk with relays and Arduino boards via MQTT protocol and OpenHAB automation system which was renew to Pimatic automation system.
Wireless gardem nodes are based on Arduino Mini platform with RFM69HW wireless modules.
If you want to see small sample, watch my video on youtube:

Looks fantastic! Do you have more information on how you set it up to control the lights? I'm looking to automate my garage and think this would help me out a ton!
Thanks,
Branden

Hi Branden,
If you want to build automation for your garage you can use one Raspberry PI with Raspbian linux. Then you can install pimatic by this tutorial http://pimatic.org/guide/getting-started/installation/ . Then you can download this plugin to pimatic http://www.pimatic.org/plugins/pimatic-gpio/ which can control gpio ports on Raspberry PI. I recommend to buy relay board and connect it with raspberry gpio pins. And that's it. If you want help with it, feel free to ask me.
