How to install Oracle Java SE Embedded 7 on your RaspberryPi

Fri Aug 17, 2012 2:37 am

On my blog, I have posted a complete step-by-step set of instructions on how to install the Oracle Java SE Embedded 7 JRE on your Raspberry Pi.
http://www.savagehomeautomation.com/pro ... t-jre.html

I recently received my Raspberry Pi and wanted to install and run Java applications but did not find a complete set of instructions on how to properly install the Oracle JRE on the Pi. So after a lot of searching, reading, and trial and error, I have patched together a single set of instructions to help others. Just trying to contribute back to the community that I have learned so much from :-)

=> ohh, that's amazing! So, from now on, we just install new Raspbian OS and we will get everything.
Yesterday, I spent all day time just for installing Java and making it run on Pi :((
Thank you so much :)
