Hello All,
Questions:
1. Are the ''Raspberry Pi 3'' supports the LabVIEW program (which version LabVIEW)?
2. Can the LabVIEW host program access "Raspberry Pi 3" GPIO pins for programing?
3. Are the "Raspberry Pi 3" supports the LabVIEW application (.exe) files?
4. How to run the LabVIEW application (.exe) file in "Raspberry Pi 3"?
5. Can the "Raspberry Pi 3" support the touch screen monitor (with HDMI connection) for using the LabVIEW application in runtime?
Thank you in advance for your help

Re: raspberry Pi 3 supports the LabVIEW application (.exe) f
Didn't take long to find this...
http://www.ni.com/labview/os-support/
No mention of Pi, so presume it does not work as is.
However there is this...

Re: raspberry Pi 3 supports the LabVIEW application (.exe) f
Thank you for answer.
I have new questions about "Raspberry PI 3" hardware:
1. Can I install the LabVIEW Real Time software in ''Raspberry PI 3'', after installing Windows 10 in ''Raspberry PI 3''?
2. Can I access the GPIO pins in ''Raspberry PI 3'' using only LabVIEW software in ''Raspberry PI 3''?
If yes, HOW....?
Answers to these questions are necessary for my work.
Thanks a lot

The Windows 10 IoT that runs on RPi2 is a completely different animal from the Windows 10 on a PC.raspberrypi_labview wrote:Thank you for answer.

No, because the Windows 10 that runs on the Pi is not normal Windows 10 but actually Windows 10 IoT, a slimmed down gui-less version made for making internet appliances.raspberrypi_labview wrote:Thank you for answer.

Hence the expression: WINOThe Windows 10 IoT that runs on RPi2 is a completely different animal from the Windows 10 on a PC.
You have to understand that, at this point in time, "Windows" is simply a trademark. Any program, any program at all, that MS chooses to market under that name, could, in fact, be marketed under that name.
If this post appears in the wrong forums category, my apologies.

Re: raspberry Pi 3 supports the LabVIEW application (.exe) f
Even if you could install a full version of Windows 10 on an RPi 3, the LabView software is compiled for the Intel x86 processor family. It would not run on an ARM processor-based system like the RPI 3.
Update: One of the other posters noted that there is a company that makes a product that allows you to recompile LabView programs to run on the RPi. That would be your only recourse.

You bought the wrong Single Board Computer, if you insist on using Labview you will need a x86 CPU device, this may suffice ??raspberrypi_labview wrote:Thank you for answer.

Bit late here but the post of mine you linked above (thanks!) still applies - no need to look into alternative boards that cost five times as much as the Pi.
Alternatively there is the TSXperts product (also linked from my previous post) which does do GUIs, although I think it's less powerful in other aspects, and it costs extra money.
For any further questions on LabVIEW I would go to the NI forums and/or LabVIEW Maker Hub site.
- You CAN deploy and run LabVIEW Real-Time code to the Raspberry Pi 2 or 3.
- You need LabVIEW 2014 running on a Windows PC, either a commercial version or the Home and Student version.
- This capability is only licenced for personal, non-commercial use.
- I'm pretty sure it will only work under standard Raspbian.
- I'm sure you can access GPIOs.
- You can't directly display LabVIEW front panels (GUIs) on the Pi's display.
