I am currently tasked with the re-publishing of Runesoft's Linux titles on Desura and Ubuntu Software Center. So far, Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood and Airline Tycoon Deluxe are published.
Out of curiosity I built a binary on my Raspberry (running Raspbian “wheezy”) and the game works perfectly so far (Well, no serious testing has and will be done). Now I want to share it with you.
Requirements:
- An installed, full version of Airline Tycoon Deluxe for Linux. You can buy a copy from Desura, Ubuntu Software Center or on CD-ROM directly from Runesoft or retailers like Tuxgames (Please use the updated installer for the CD-ROM version)
Raspberry Pi with the Raspbian “wheezy” image (Arch will probably also work, but I have never tried it)
- Copy over an existing x86 installation of the game to your Raspberry
Download the Raspberry binaries archive from our update page and extract it within the game directory.
Execute ATDeluxe.armv6l
- If you want the game to fill the whole screen, make sure the resolution of 640x480 is available or use the /window argument to run the game in a window.
