Hello all
Seems there is some speculation that there is a Microsoft repo installed in our OS without us knowing. Any weight to this? Show we be concerned?

In a recent update, the Raspberry Pi OS installed a Microsoft apt repository on all machines running Raspberry Pi OS without the person’s or admin’s knowledge.

there are 4 or 5 other threads about this exact same topic on the forum alone, and another 2 on reddit

TLDR: its to allow installing vscode for the new pico, and if you dont install vscode, it shouldnt affect anything
