I see a lot of different costs from $10/hour to $100/ hour, where the truth is?
I've found the guide like this [mod: removed link, might be spam?] but I'm not sure it gives true information. Please share your experience. How much do you take for such work?
Re: How much does it cost to hire Python developer for back end?
Are you hiring?
Hmm. What can I put here?
Re: How much does it cost to hire Python developer for back end?
If you're looking for work, start by asking for $100/hr. If you're hiring, start by offering $10/hr.
I can only speak in generalities as a programmer; Python back end might be super in demand ($100+) or, maybe demand was high and it's waning after everybody went out and learned Python, so more like $50/hr or maybe less.
In general, 10$/hr is very, very low for tech skills (assuming US and US$ - $15/hr is minimum wage in many places and I think federal is actually a little over $10/hr). 30$/hr might be a "teaser rate" for your first contract job (just out of high school, say) but $100/hr is not outrageous if you have a good track record and maybe a master's degree or two. $100 hr is definitely reasonable for someone with a PhD (if I had a nickel for every Physics PhD I met who ended up with a programming career...).

If you go onto sites like Freelancer, you'll probably find US$200 to $250/day is about the going rate, but quality varies widely. If you want local people on-site then probably double that or more.
