Hi, I've recently bought a raspberry pi 3b+ and downloaded Raspbian OS. For the Sdcard, I got Sandisk's 16 GB, 10 A1 class sdcard.
I prepared everything, and when I start the raspberry I see this error on the screen as you can see from the title. I also searched for this error on the internet, almost all forums. I did what you said or what they said but those methods just change the error type like: (179,2) to (179,6) or (179,2) to (179,7). I stuck in this process, and I don't know what to do.
Thanks in advance for your advices...

Re: Kernel panic-not syncing: VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown- block(179,2) Error
This indicates a problem with your SD card, or more probably with the software or procedure you’re using to install Raspbian on the SD.
I would advise you retry the install procedure in full. If it still fails in the same way, try another SD, there is still a little chance this one could be damaged.

Ok, it might be true, but my friend also got this Sdcard and everything was fine for him. I also downloaded the last Raspbian OS, and everything is same. Anyway, I will try to change my Sdcard, I hope the will work. Thanks...epoch1970 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 9:08 amThis indicates a problem with your SD card, or more probably with the software or procedure you’re using to install Raspbian on the SD.
